=Introduction= Julia Voth is a Canadian actress and model. She is perhaps best known for her likeness being used as the basis for the character Jill Valentine from Capcom's survival-horror video game "Resident Evil: Biohazard.”
=Career= By the time she was fourteen she was already modeling professionally in Japan. She did print work and TV commercials for brands such as Calvin Klein and Shiseido. It was around this time she was selected to be the face of Resident Evil’s iconic character “Jill Valentine.”
After modeling professionally for several years, Julia wanted a bigger challenge and moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to pursue acting. In only her fifth audition, Julia got her big acting break, snagging the lead role in the ambitious cult/exploitation vehicle Bitch Slap (2009) playing Trixie, a no-nonsense stripper with a big heart. The movie also stars America Olivo and Erin Cummings and will get a wide theatrical release in January 2010.
In the fall of 2008 Julia filmed her next movie, Love Hurts (2009). It stars [[Carrie-Anne Moss]] as Amanda and Julia plays Young Amanda, 20 years earlier. It is a romantic comedy about love, life, and how we can lose sight of the ones we love. After that, she snagged the role of Shelly in the romantic comedy The Anniversary (2010).
In April 2009, Julia began her role of Agent #1 on Justin Timberlake’s short-lived reality series “The Phone.”
Recently Julia graced the pages of Maxim’s “Best Things to Happen to 2009” calendar.
