Lindsay Lohan Introduction to the Lindsay Lohan Biography
Lindsay Lohan is an actress, singer and tabloid star. She has starred in critically acclaimed movies, such as Mean Girls, and has released an album, Speak. Since turning eighteen, Lohan has dated enough men to fill three football teams and she has crashed more cars than you have ever owned in your life. But beneath it all she’s just a down home gal.
Lindsay grew up in a Hollywood home, which is never a good sign. Her biography starts with a father who was a semi-successful actor and a mother who was a former Rockette. Together, they pushed her into the world of entertainment and made sure their little firecrotch made them loads of money. Her first couple of gigs were in TV commercials and soap operas. Due to the rigorous schedule that comes with being an actress, she missed a lot of school. But her parents were pleased because she was on her way to becoming a star. Everything was going great, until her father was arrested for security fraud in the late eighties and spent four years in jail. But despite this personal sadness, Lindsay’s career continued to prosper. After so many commercials and small parts in soap operas she was cast in a main role on the soap opera Another World. In 1998, Lindsay landed the role as the twins in the film The Parent Trap. This role turned her into a verified child star. After The Parent Trap, Lohan continued to make teen comedies, like Confession of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls. both of which did will at the box office. Both movies did well at the box office and allowed Lohan to work alongside stars like Tina Fey and Rachel Mcadams. In 2004 Lohan decided to try her hand at music and released an album, Speak, which went on to become certified platinum.
Lindsay Lohan Life as a Hollywood Starlet
These days Lindsay has devoted less time doing movies and more time getting in trouble with the law. After having a failed relationship with celebrity Wilmer Valderrama, Lohan started partying and drinking and driving while hanging with her bffs like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, the Olsen Twins, and Britney Spears. In 2005 alone she was involved in three car accidents. In 2007 Lohan was busted for possession of cocaine after her Mercedes Benz convertible struck a curb. When Lohan isn’t ruining her girlish image, she is making movies that are poorly received by both critics and audiences alike. In 2007 she starred in the film I Know Who Killed Me which made a grand total of 3.5 million in its box office debut. Since her last DUI debacle this past summer Lohan has stayed under the media radar and claims that she will be traveling in Europe for the next couple of months. Let’s hope she doesn’t plan on renting a car over there.
Lindsay Lohan Exposing Herself
In February of 2008, Lindsay Lohan attempted to re-create the last photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe. Feeling a little like Marilyn in her last days, she sported a Blonde wig and not much else. The internet was a fury of activity as the world gathered to look at Lindsay Lohan's bare breasts. Pictures can be found in the New York Magazine or online.
Lindsay Lohan The Movies that Made Lindsay Famous
Lohan became a star long before she was considered a hot chick with her impressive double role as twins in The Parent Trap. A few short years later, the teenage Lindsay could do no wrong with a string of hits that started with Freaky Friday and ended with Herbie: Fully Loaded. From that point on, it’s pretty much been downhill both professionally and personally. Her films have gone from bad, Just My Luck, to worse, I Know Who Killed Me. However, in between she’s managed to work with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, like Jane Fonda in Georgia Rule and Demi Moore in Bobby. Despite her many personal troubles over the past couple of years, it seems her career may soon be back on track with upcoming roles in Labor Pains and Dare to Love Me.
Lindsay Lohan The Pop Princess
Lohan wants to be more than an actress and has released two albums, with a third on the way. Similar to her acting career, things started out rather promising with the first album, Speak, which hit platinum. But her second foray into music, A Little More Personal (Raw), was neither critically acclaimed nor popular. Maybe the third time will be the charm when Spirit in the Dark comes out later this year.
Lindsay Lohan The Men in Her Life
Being the hot chick that she is, Lohan has had many men, most of them famous, in her life. Sure, we all know about Wilmer Valderrama, but there were also trysts with Aaron Carter, Jared Leto, and Riley Giles. In the latest twist of Lohan’s love life, she’s given up men for DJ Samantha Ronson.
Although panned by many as attention seeker and a master at staying in the news (like here), she has perhaps found her true companion in Sam. They have been seen having fun and they have been seen together a lot. Is it that in Sam she has finally found someone who does not push her towards the limelight all the time?
As recently as April 2010 Lindsay's Dad Micheal Lohan is trying to get conservatorship over her, because he is scared her drug problem is going to kill her. Stay tuned for more details.
In July 2010 an LA County judge sentenced Lindsay to 90 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under the influence charge, because she did not attend enough alcohol education classes. She was also ordered to check into a live in rehab center for 90 days after her jail time. Ultimately she served 2 weeks in jail and 23 days in rehab.
On September 17, 2010 Lindsay admitted on her twitter page that she had failed a random drug test, a result that could send her back to jail.
