Best Ways To Shave Male Genitals

The best ways to shave male genitals are rechargeable personal shavers, disposable razors, and waxing.  The following information will help you choose which option is best for you.

  1. Rechargeable personal shavers.  While not a popular item, male personal shavers are available.  Many of them come with a variety of guards that allow you to select the length of hair you desire, from a slight trim to a total shave.  These rechargeable shavers can be used on wet or dry hair.  It is the simplest   and safest way to shave your genitals.  There is virtually no risk of cuts and it can be done quickly in the bathroom or shower.
  2.  Disposable razors.  If you want to shave your genitals with disposable razors you will need to be extremely careful.  Begin by taking a shower, this will soften the hair and make it easier to cut.  Next lather up with shaving cream.  It is best to use cream designed for sensitive skin when shaving the genital area.  Begin by shaving the shaft, then move downwards.  Use quick upward strokes when shaving the scrotum.  Go slowly and rinse your razor often.  After shaving apply moisturizer to your genitals. If you choose to shave your genitals with a disposable razor, understand that it may take several months of shaving for your skin to get used to being shaved.  Razor burn is common for the first several shaves.
  3. Waxing.  Waxing is a good option for men who want the hair gone quickly and want it to last.  Having your genitals waxed is by far the most painful of the three options, however, the result will be much smoother than the other two.  It may also be difficult to find a male bikini waxer in your area.  Home waxing kits are available, but can be dangerous.  Make sure you thoroughly read the directions and follow all the steps.

Whichever option you choose, the key is to go slow, take your time and moisturize after hair removal.
