Farmville is a community game application on Facebook where users gain points by helping each other plant and harvest crops, exchanging gifts and helping one another with farm chores. Farmville can be an entertaining waste of time for a few days, but as more and more people begin to add you on as a neighbor, the more your Facebook in-box will be jammed with Farmville requests for corn, hay, cows and any number of farm friendly gifts. Since Facebook doesn't allow you to ignore or reject Farmville requests in bulk, the best way to keep the Farmville requests at bay is to delete the application from your Facebook account.
Log into your Facebook account. Because the Farmville application is run through Facebook, you will have to log into your account to delete Farmville.
Click on the "Account" button on the top right hand corner of the screen. This will give you a drop down menu of the different things that you are able to change on your Facebook account. When you are in the drop down menu, click on "Application Settings" section of the drop down menu. This will take you to a screen showing the different applications that you have on your Facebook account. When you are in the "Application Settings" menu, look for Farmville on the list of applications that you use on Facebook.
Click on the "Profile" link to the right of the Farmville logo. This will take you to the Farmville Facebook page. Scroll down the page until you see the link that says "Remove Application" on the lower left hand side of the screen. Click on the "Remove Application" link. Once you click on the link you will get a pop-up window asking you if you are sure that you want to delete Farmville from your Facebook account. Click "OK" in the pop-up window, and Farmville will be removed from your Facebook account.
