How To Put Internal Memory Card In PS3
Need to know how to put an internal memory card in a PS3? The PS3 comes with a built-in hard drive, so a memory card is not required to play. However, one can be used to your advantage. A PS3 internal memory card is used to store data that your PS3 can read by enabling you to copy and save data to and from your PS3. It is quite easy to put an internal memory card into a PS3.
To put an internal memory card into a PS3, you will need:
- Your PS3
- A memory card
- A memory card adaptor
- Locate the slot where you will put the memory card in the PS3. Look on the front next to the slot where you put the disk, to the top left. There is a compartment that opens up, and once you lift it up you will see a few slots. Look for the one that is for the memory card.
- Insert the memory card into the memory card adaptor. Put the memory card adaptor into the PS3 slot. Turn on the PS3 and wait for it to load up and detect your memory card.
- Make sure the internal memory card has been properly connected to the PS3. Go to the main menu screen; select "Game," then select "Memory Card Utility." Next, press the "X" button, and a memory card icon should appear. This means that your PS3 memory card was inserted and connected correctly.
- Pull up the information on the memory card. If you select the icon it will allow you to view the information saved on the memory card. You now have access to your PS3 memory card.
