From "Tha Carter III" to "Rebirth," Lil Wayne albums have been hitting the top of the music charts for years. Lil Wayne is an American rapper that debuted at the young age of nine when he joined Cash Money Records. In 1997, Lil Wayne joined the rappers Hot Boys, which helped him reach fame, before launching his solo career as Lil Wayne.

"Tha Block is Hot."

Lil Wayne debuted his solo career with the double platinum album "Tha Block is Hot." Released on November 2, 1999 by Cash Money Records and Universal Music Group, over 230,000 copies of this album sold in the first week, and two million albums have sold worldwide. The lead single is "Tha Block is Hot," a song that is placed as number 50 on VH1's "100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time."

"Rebirth."

One of the first rock Lil Wayne albums, "Rebirth" was released February 2, 2010 by Cash Money Records, and it is the seventh album by the rapper. Although "Rebirth" received negative reviews from many music critics, it sold over 500,000 copies worldwide and produced four hit songs. "Rebirth" reached number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. "Prom Queen," the lead single and most popular song from "Rebirth," peaked at number fifteen on the Billboard Hot 100.

The fifth album by rapper Lil Wayne, "Tha Carter II" was released on December 6, 2005 by Universal Music Group and Cash Money Records. After selling over two million copies worldwide, "Tha Carter II" was certified platinum. "Fireman" was the most popular single from the album, and it reached number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, number ten on the Hot Rap Tracks and number 43 on the Pop 100.

"I Am Not a Human Being."

Released on September 27, 2010, "I Am Not a Human Being"  is the eighth Lil Wayne album. This album was released while Lil Wayne was jailed, so it became the first album album to reach number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart since Tupac Shakur's 1995 album "Me Against the World." "Right Above It" was the lead single from the album, and it debuted at number six on the U.S. Billboard Top 100.

One of the most popular Lil Wayne albums, "Tha Carter III" is the sixth album by Lil Wayne released June 10, 2008 by Cash Money Records. This triple platinum album debuted as number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, and has sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide. Lil Wayne received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album for "Tha Carter III." Receiving many awards and topping several charts, "Lollipop" is the first and most popular single from this album.
